From the A167:

From the North:
Approaching Durham, stay on the A167 passing both the Pot and Glass pub and the Nevilles Cross Hotel. At the next set of traffic lights (adjacent to the Duke of Wellington pub) turn left and continue down Potter's Bank, turning right at the roundabout at the bottom of the hill. At the New Inn turn left and continue down Church Street. Immediately after the set of traffic lights, turn right into Elvet Crescent, then right at the Court Inn. Following the road round, St. Cuthbert's Church is on your left.

From the South:
Approaching Durham, at the roundabout adjacent to the Cock of the North pub turn right (following signs to city centre). Continue down South Road, and at the set of traffic lights adjacent to the New Inn, follow straight on into Church Street. At the following set of traffic lights, take the right turn immediately after the lights into Elvet Crescent. Then turn right at the Court Inn and follow the road round to St. Cuthbert's Church which will appear on your left.

From the A1:

From the North & South:
Leave the A1 at exit 62 (junction with A690) and follow the A690 into Durham City Centre (1st exit from South, 3rd exit from North). At the next roundabout continue to Durham City Centre (take 3rd Exit) and then at the next roundabout after that take the filter lane left and cross the River Wear. You will quickly reach a set of traffic lights adjacent to the Marriot Hotel - turn left at these lights and continue along the road (past Elvet Methodist Church) and you will see "St. Cuthbert's RC Church" signposted on the right.
