On Thursday 18th August 2022 Pugin expert Gerard Hyland will lead a study day looking at the work of the Pugin family at Ushaw. The day will include a visit to the library to see the Pugin drawings and books, viewing the Pugin church plate and vestments and a tour that will include parts of Ushaw not normally open to the public including the infirmary, bake house, maids dormitory and the nuns’ living quarters.
