  1. During the first and second lock down I attended Mass online and discovered St Marys Cathedral, Newcastle. I live in Watford, Hertfordshire and had been looking around for a Mass to attend online while we were not able to attend physically. After trying several difference Churches I discovered St Marys, Newcastle. Fr Michael was amazing and so inspiring to me. I gained a tremendous amount of support from the Masses and Holy Hour each day. I had intended to visit and attend Mass in person once the restrictions were lifted and have a chance to say hello to both Fr Michael and Fr Peter. I am deeply saddened to hear of his departure and will dearly miss his great homilies and gentle, kind inspiring words. I will most certainly keep the repose of his soul in my prayers and for all those who know him personally. He touched the lives of others in a positive way without ever knowing it. I am grateful for the support I received from so far when I needed it most. Thank you.
